"When you cancel your insurance with them, they even not wait for you to tell them “have a good day”, or thank you, just hung up 🤐🤐 I try to reply to your reply so I update my review, I did my insurance with Gainsco through your office as a third party, i have one phone number take it from there mail 1-866-424-6726, and when I call them answer machine said to call back your local office “ that’s mean your office”. Anyway, it’s polite to answer any one say “thank you or have a good day “ not hung up especially it will not take more than 10 seconds. Less than the time that you replied to my review."
"Nada: First of all, you did not cancel your insurance with State Farm, you canceled your insurance with GAINSCO. We were happy to take your call and assist with your request to help to get you removed from the GAINSCO insurance contact list. Our office helped you obtain coverage with GAINSCO since you were not eligible to get coverage through State Farm. You opted to cancel your coverage with GAINSCO after only 6 months, then called to ask for our assistance to help get you removed from their contact list; we were happy to submit the request on your behalf. We pride ourselves with high standards of customer service and were here to help you obtain coverage when you needed it. We even gave you recommendations to other carriers. My office is always happy to assist folks with questions and obtaining coverage they need, even if it isn't always through State Farm. "

"I am beyond aggravated. I purchased auto and renters through Phyllis. I get a cancellation notice that I have basically a week to find insurance for something that happened over 3 years ago and was clearly on my app and mvr. I didn’t even receive a phone call or email! Some service this is…..this is like approving a renter having them sign a lease and move in and evict them a month later for something with a previous landlord. I am baffled. If what was on my mvr wasn’t allowed then why be so quick to take my money and issue a policy? I have emailed Phyllis about this as well. I will be expecting a prorated refund TOMORROW since you guys are so quick to send out a cancellation notice without a phone call or an email. Gross. Purchase your insurance elsewhere Update I spoke with the Gena and the underwriting department did reinstate with no lapse in coverage. They did have good communication with me. They didn’t receive the notice prior and it was a glitch in underwriting and the quoting system. It was trying to show my incident happened twice in one month! Haha if that was the case I wouldn’t insure me either! I was quick to be upset and panicked, but their office fought for me and I was very impressed."
"Sarah: I am sorry this has happened to you. I did not see a cancellation notice or I would have contacted you before you received it from State Farm corporate. My office tries to provide the best service possible and hold ourselves to a higher standard. We are human, however, and sometimes things do fall through the cracks. State Farm corporate handles the processing of applications and refunds. When you completed the quote online and submitted the application through our office, it was accepted. When the application got to the underwriting phase, that is when your MVR kicked it back with a cancellation, even though the major violation was disclosed previously. Usually, if there is a major violation, tickets or multiple accidents the system kicks it back to us as ineligible-in your case it did not. Again, I truly apologize for this situation and any inconvenience this may have caused you. "

"Recently were hit by two deer taking out the front quarter panel on our truck. First thing Phyllis asked was, "were we okay." After it was determined we were fine, we were then told that if this changed for some reason, our insurance coverage included medical payments for up to $5,000 of care. We were then contacted by the home office to give us a case number. While we have not needed any care, there was peace of mind knowing if we had not met our deductible we had the funds needed. Due to recent hail in the area, the time to get our car fixed was not immediate. Yet we had insurance that allowed us to get a rental car at $10 a day, so we were not inconvenienced. The quality of service is above and beyond. Sure you can always find something for less, but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for". In my honest opinion, I get more than I pay for as the price of peace of mind is priceless! Thanks Phyllis and all your friendly, caring staff!"

"I don’t normally write reviews but my experience with this place has been so horrible I feel obligated to warn others. They raised my insurance rates and I had to call to find out why, Three phone calls later they came up with a legitimate sounding reason. I had car insurance with them and so I asked them if I could get a discount if I bundle of my car insurance with renters insurance. I proceeded to wait a week for a quote before I finally started shopping with other insurance providers and got several quotes significantly lower and half the deductible. This agent and the main State Farm HQ are still mailing me and sent me new insurance cards for my vehicle even though I have canceled with them 2 weeks prior. They sent my refund check to the completely wrong address even though I specifically told it to them several different times to different people at that office. I could go on and list to many other examples of how horrible they are but the main point is I would never recommend them to anyone. Beware."

It does take some time to process cancellations and changes so that is the reason you received new ID cards 2 weeks after cancellation. A lot of things have changed in my office since then.
